The Last Werewolf - Glen Duncan Wow. A thinking (and well read) person's horror story. A supernatural spy thriller with twists and turns and tension that never lags. A love story. A complete exploration of the individual werewolf as a monster and as a human being. All told by an author well versed in the classics and winking at you as he encourages you to keep up. Not for the squeamish but, seriously, if you are squeamish why are you reading horror anyway? Go read Twilight or something. I loved this book and hope that the hints in this novel about other supernatural creatures (demons, zombies, ghosts, etc.) and their stories are actual novels that we will get to read in the future. I put several more of Duncan's books on my to-read list.
